Primary responsibilities
- Content: Driving overall content strategy for Warp with the goal of increasing Warp’s awareness and driving top of funnel traffic like website visits and Warp signups
- Helping define that our tone should be across different channels and making sure it’s consistent
- Managing content across our social channels
- Drafting and publishing tweets
- Responding to twitter DMs and retweeting where appropriate, except in the case of support questions which should be redirected to DevX
- Creating and publishing TikTok videos
- Creating and publishing Youtube videos
- Managing and updating content on our marketing website
- Including optimizing our download and install funnel
- Owning creating high-quality documentation in GitBook (with help from DevX)
- Owning monthly newsletter sent to the user community
- Working with the product team on content that we surface within the app or as part of the customer journey
- Designing and managing email marketing campaigns
- Owning the content calendar and ensuring we are publishing content every week
- Driving on content for SEO including
- commands.dev
- Other searchable content marketing efforts
- Writing or delegating interesting blog posts such as customer case studies, tutorials, or general educational wikis
- Coordinating, copy-editing, and publishing content from the Warp team as they produce content for

- Warp documentation
- Warp repo content like READMEs
- Tracking the performance of different content campaigns
- Making sure we have a good view of them in Google Analytics, Amplitude and other tracking tools
- Working with Data Engineers to ensure we understand and prioritize our most effective marketing channels
- Community: driving the growth and engagement of the community of developers who use and contribute to Warp
- Fostering discussion of Warp in online communities
- Posting and commenting on Reddit forums (with help from the eng team)
- Posting and commenting on HackerNews (with help from the eng team)
- Owning the engagement strategy of the Discord community and working with DevX to implement it
- Owning the influencer and ambassador programs (Warp Ambassadors)
- Launches: Owning new product or feature launches to maximize Warp’s audience
Not responsible for
- Writing detailed technical blog posts (engineers are responsible)
- Managing and responding to customer feedback (DevX is responsible)
- Responding to feedback and support on Discord community
- Performance / paid marketing
